Burnell McInelly, 87, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday January 24, 2018. He was born in Escalante, Utah on February 18, 1930 to John Henry and Vilate McInelly. He was the 11th of 12 children, all preceded him in death.
Dad was a hard worker, a man of many trades, but mainly as a mechanic. He worked at Salt Lake car dealerships, Kennecott, and self-employed Mac’s Service Conoco. He retired from Tooele Army Depot after working from 1966-1976.
He met the love of his life, Mona Joy Leff through friends and later married in Elko, Nevada on July 23, 1949.
Dad is survived by four children and their spouses: Danny (Ella) McInelly, Yvonne Joy Cook, Mark (Denise) McInelly, Ruby Blank (Ken Sorensen). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death: his parents John Henry and Vilate McInelly, 11 siblings, grandson Eric Cook and son-in-law Ronald (Jovie) Blank.

Visitation for friends and family will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Tate Mortuary, 110 S Main Street, Tooele, Utah, 12:45-1:45 p.m. Light refreshments served.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. Tooele City Cemetery, 265 S 100 E, Tooele, Utah.
