Patty Hervat

On March 7th, 2009 Patty Hervat, 68, passed away at St. Marks Hospital surrounded by her family after a long struggle with heart disease. She was born May 6th, 1940 to Virginia and Leonard Gustaveson. She was a cheerleader and graduated from Grantsville High School. She was married in 1959 to Jim Hervat; together they had two sons Marty and Mark. Patty retired from Mountain Bell. Patty was a good hearted person who gave of herself to everyone. She was a very loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her favorite times were spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Patty is survived by her husband Jim, children, Marty (Tallia) and Mark (Kim), grandchildren Nicholas, Tyler, Alexis and Michelle, great grandchildren Elly and Ava, sisters Carol (Jerry) Edwards, Oregon, Connie (Ramon) Severe, Grantsville, Bonnie Williams, Grantsville, and many other extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Marks Hospital for their good care of Patty and also Rachel from Heritage Health Care. At Patty’s request a graveside service will be held at the Grantsville cemetery on Thursday March 12th at 11:OO am.
