Sharree Hervat Peterson passed over on Tuesday March 17, 2009 after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born on January 13, 1943 in Tooele to A.P. “Tony” and Mary Jellinich Hervat. She married her high school sweetheart Richard A. Peterson and together they had three daughters. She worked at Albertson’s for six years and then began working for Tooele City where she was the sexton at the cemetery and later was the records technician at the police department, retiring in 2007. She loved to golf, RV, and travel. Her greatest passion was planning and spending time with her family on camping trips, outings, and vacations. Everyone who knew her loved her for her sense of humor and wit. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughters Lezlie (Dave) McCall, Lisa (Albert) Buck, and Tyra (Randy) Booth; grandchildren Kyla, David, Nathan and Morgan; Michael and Lauren; Randi (Cooper) and Skylee; great-great children Gage and Sophia; and her special babies Oliver and Fergie. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Kyle PItts, nephew Randy VanTine, and sister-in-law Pat Hervat. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20 at 11:30 at the Tate Mortuary. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at the Tooele City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Sharree and her family request that donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. A special thanks to Dee, Debbie and Bob at Mountain West Hospice and the staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute for all their support, love and wonderful care.
