Don Alan Woolley, age 82, of Grantsville, passed away suddenly April 5, 2009. He was born Jan 10, 1927 in Salt Lake City to Rene Burt Woolley and Veda Thomson. He graduated from East High School and the University of Utah with a degree in Business Administration. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz and was always meticulous not only in his appearance but in his house, vehicles, yard and their 2nd home on Mount Tabby. He married Norma Thornton Mar 7, 1947 in Salt Lake City. She passed away in 1992. He married Nada Rae Johnson Mar 13, 1993. He retired from Trane Air Conditioning Manufacturer. He is survived by his loving wife Nada Rae, his daughter Shirley (Ronald) Anderson, 4 step-children; Kevin (Mindi) Harris, Bryan (Barbara) Harris, Darin (Teresa) Harris and Leanna (Joey) Espinoza, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, Sisters-in-law Laurnell Goodsell & Pam. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Lyle and Phil, 1 sister, Carol. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 10, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Grantsville 2nd and Clark Ward Chapel, 81 No Church St. Viewings will be held at Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. Tooele, on Thursday April 9th from 6:00-8:00PM and Friday April 10th 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at the church.. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. A special thanks to the Grantsville Police and Fire Dept, EMT’s and Mountain West Medical Center for their valiant work on trying to revive Don.

I’m so sorry to hear of your lost. I want to send you my sympathy’s. I know its hard to find to find comfort at this hard time. That’s why I wanted to share something I found comforting.It’s the hope held out to us in the bible. It’s found at Revelations 21:3,4. I hope it brings you the same comfort it brings me.
