Phillip passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54 on April 3, 2009. He was born Sep 28, 1954 to Robert & Roleene Kozlowski in Tooele UT, and married Sherry Jensen on July 16, 1987. Phillip was a graduate of Tooele High School and attended Utah State University. He served 8 years in the Air Force and was employed at DCD in Tooele, as a Control Desk Operator. He had been President of the Tooele Bit & Spur Riding Club in 1990, State Judge for many years, District President. He loved to ride “Blue” his horse, in the mountains. He also loved to rope, team pen, and chariot race. He never passed up an opportunity to be involved in the yearly Tooele 4th of July Rodeo. He is survived by his wife Sherry, daughter Tammy Pearson, grand-daughter Ashlee Sartori, father Robert, sisters Patty Cranney, Pam Dillenbeck (Richard), Linda Stolp, brother Chuck, his close friend Barry Elton, and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Roleene. Funeral services will be held on April 9, 2009 at 11am at the Tooele 19th Ward, (1030 S. 900 W.). Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to the services and on Wed. April. 8, 2009 from 6-8 pm at Tate Mortuary, (110 S. Main St. Tooele). Interment at Tooele City Cemetery.
