1931-2009
Corinne died on June 22, 2009 after a long and painful illness. Corinne was born in Tooele, Utah on May 2, 1931 to Ella and Cecil Dobson. She married James Curtis Lougy on Oct 30, 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, an older sister Joan Allred (Claytor) of Tooele and an older brother Calvin, killed in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. She is survived by her husband James Curtis Lougy, an older sister Dorothy Lea (Bill) of Guyton, Georgia and three wonderful caring daughters, Marilyn Hudson (Tommy) of Santa Cruz, California, Kathleen Darr (Jeff) of Tooele, Utah, Linda Anderson (Michael) of Tooele, Utah and two fine grandsons Justin and Cody Darr and nieces and nephews. Prior to her illness she was a happy person full of fun and laughter and a pleasure to be around. She liked to go dancing and she enjoyed camping by the Fremont river and fishing with her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be no viewing or funeral. There will be a short ceremony at the grave site with the family. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery at 11:00AM on Thursday June 25, 2009. The family expresses it’s gratitude to the personnel of Rocky Mountain Care for their kind and compassionate care of Corinne.
