Ilda Marie Gualtieri Smith

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister passed away peacefully on Dec. 8,2009. After a brief hospital stay. Born the third child to Emidio and Giusippina Gualtieri on Feb. 10, 1928. She married Hugh Smith; they later divorced. They had one child, Dianna. Ilda spent most of her life in Tooele. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a sweet, gentle, strong woman who was loved by everyone who knew her. Survived by: Daughter, Dianna Allred (Mark), Brother, Angelo Gualtieri, Sisters; Jamma Johnson and Millie Denney. Grandchildren: Toni Perez, Brittany Magno and Shane Allred. Great Grandchildren: Paytton, Carlos, Dominick, Christopher, Damian and Omar. Preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Burkett and Elena Schmitt. The funeral service was held on Dec 11,2009 at St. Marguerite’s Church in Tooele. A special thanks to Rocky Mountain Care Center and Mountain West Medical Center.
