Wayne Grover Higley, 69, died Feb 25, 2010 following a long illness. Born April 17, 1940 in Burmester, Utah to Grover S. and Dorothy Barkley Higley. Raised & educated in Grantsville, graduated from Grantsville High School in 1958 and served in the U.S. Army for 6 years. Retired from Lime Plant after 33 years. Married Julia Perry April 28, 1961 in the S.L. Temple. Survived by his wife, siblings Janet(Jerry) Laycock, American Fork, Ut. Darryl (Rheta) Higley, Kearns, Ut. Lenore Lund, Tooele; Allan (Judy) Higley, Tooele; Robert (Dawn) Higley, Highland, Ut.; Russell (Elaine) Higley, Port Orchard, WA. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Erma Penrod. Also survived by his beloved cats. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 12:00Noon in the Grantsville 6th Ward, 81 North Church St. Viewing will be held from 10:30-11:45 prior to the service at the church. Interment in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
