Eldean Ellen Shea Peterson 1917-2010
Our loving Irish mom, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend Eldean Ellen Shea Peterson, passed away August 28, 2010, in Tooele, Utah. Eldean was born Sept. 7, 1917 to John Joseph Shea and Margaret Isebel McDonald Shea. She was raised in Bingham Canyon where she grew up in Highland Boy. Eldean married Everett Ray Peterson, Aug 12, 1937 and together with their three sons made their home in Tooele, Utah. Everett (Ray) passed Nov 3, 1959. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, being around family and friends and was a member of the LDS church. She is survived by her three sons, Everett (Sharlene), Tim, and Russell (Tamra), a sister Francis Stilinovich, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, parents, grandson Michael Peterson, great-granddaughter Kaylee Beth Peterson, brothers, John, Timothy, Patrick and Daniel Shea and sister Kathleen King. Thank you for always being such a good example in our lives. We will miss your love and kisses, and those “Smiling Irish Eyes”. A special thank you to those who took care of Ma at the Rocky Mountain Care Facility. Funeral services will be held at Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main Street, Tooele, Utah, Wednesday, Sept lst 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow services at the Tooele Cemetery.
