She dedicated her life to helping friends and neighbors. She was known as the neighborhood nurse and was always available to help anyone needing medical attention or advice in town. She was an active member of the LDS church for her entire life serving in multiple callings.
Music was always an integral part of Donna’s life. She played piano and trumpet both from a very early age. She began organ lessons as a teenager. Throughout her life she blessed many lives with her musical talents. In high school she took great pride in being the first chair of the trumpet section (as she was the only girl). She was always very proud of her experience playing trumpet in the University of Utah marching band. She was an honorary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (bugler) as she played taps for countless military funerals over the course of 50 years.
