George Pat Koskinen

In Loving Memory

August 8, 1945 – December 4, 2107

George Koskinen passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 4^th, 2017, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Telluride Colorado to Wilho and Betty Koskinen.  George lived most of his life in Moab, Utah but spent his retirement years in Erda, Utah. He was a very generous man as well as a loving father and grandfather. His passion was for German Shepherds, fly fishing, hunting and shooting. He loved to train dogs, go on hikes and spend time with friends and family. He was the happiest when he was helping others.

He is survived by his 4 daughters, Wendy Droubay, Brandi Mayberry (Greg), Heidi Pitts (Shane) and Heather Winegar (Paul), 11 Grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 nephews. George will be forever loved and missed. 

Graveside Services to be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Tate Mortuary in Tooele, UT
