Mary "Kathy" Kathryn (Bond) Anglesey

April 13, 1976 ~ March 4, 2018 (age 41)

Mary Kathryn “Kathy” (Bond) Anglesey passed away on March 4th 2018 as a result of a very debilitating illness.

Kathy is remembered by her parents as a mild and loving child. She was the youngest child in the Bond family and her parents enjoyed so much raising her.

Her achievements were many, some of which were that she became a cosmetologist before graduating from high school and for several years this became a source of income for her. About 20 years later, she went back to school and became a Medical Assistant, working in an IHC Midwife Facility. She enjoyed so much working with the young expectant mothers who were patients there.

Her biggest achievement was being a wife and mother, giving birth to and raising her five daughters. She has been a widow for the past 8 years and so raised the girls without the help of a husband, and a father for her children. These were difficult years for Kathy as well as the girls to have an absent father. For the last 3 years, the girls' Uncle Mark was a big help to the family.

She is now with her dear husband and love of her life, Chris Anglesey. He passed away in 2010 and literally adored Kathy, putting her first in his life. She also is preceded in death by her brothers Kris Bond and Kevin Bond.

Kathy is survived by her daughters Erika, Nicole, Kristen, Lauren, and Athena Anglesey; sister Theresa Bond; brothers Mark (Brandi) Bond and David (Jennifer) Bond.

Furthermore, she is survived by her parents Don and Connie Bond and her very dear father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott and Margaret Anglesey. She also has many nieces and nephews who love her.

Funeral services will be held at the Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street in Tooele, Utah on Monday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing before the funeral - from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and noted heart surgeon once stated: “The gift of the resurrection is the Lord's consummate act of healing.” With that in mind, we all look forward to being with Kathy again.
