- About Us
Richard “Ricky” Eugene RunningBear Nielson, 29 years old. Ricky suffered a sudden death due to a blood clot at his home in South Salt Lake, Utah. Ricky was born august 6th, 1989 and passed away on August 22, 2018.
Ricky was an adventurous child often causing his mom mild heart attacks with his dare devil feats. The best attributes of Ricky were his smile, love for his family, humor, open to the wonders of the world and never placed judgement on anyone. Words from the family: Mom” Ricky was always a happy fun loving person and saw good in everyone and had a contagious smile” Britiney “the best big brother and best friend. Always made the best out of a bad situation and so understanding and non-judgmental. Garrett “Ricky was a complicated yet simple man. He was a caring loving man who always helped in any way he could.” Zachary “The best brother I could ask for!” Grandma Maria “He understood more than a lot of people that kindness was the best thing in life.” Dad Adam “We need more Rickys’ in the world. Always willing to help, never judges anyone. Puts on a strong face so others won’t be afraid. Most importantly he fights to defend what he knows to be right and not for personal gain. Ricky did this because it was the good and decent thing to do.” Ricky was very fortunate in finding the love of his life, true soul mate Melinda. They meant the world to each other and were a united front against the woes of the world.
