Sandy Griffith Obituary (1971

Sandy Lynn Butterfield Griffith returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the age of 48. Sandy was born in Murray, Utah on July 26, 1971 to DeWayne J. Butterfield and Mary Christina Mower Butterfield. She grew up in Herriman, Utah and spent most of her childhood enjoying the outdoors camping, fishing, and helping take care of the family animals. She attended Bingham High School. Her greatest joy and passion in life were her 3 children, they were her everything and it showed. She was the best mom, always put her children first and did anything for them. Sandy was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the gospel with everything she had, she loved her kids and family even more. Sandy fought very hard through her journey for many years, she was so strong and never complained about anything. She took family very seriously, she was a full-time mom, and boy were we full-time! Sandy always tried to help anyone that she could and has touched so many lives in the time she was with us. Sandy you have forever changed our lives for the better, Rest in Peace. Sandy is survived by her mom Chris, her children Saydies (Dylan), Shunell (Zeek), Sage, Sister and brother-in-law, Leah and Jeff Church, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Preceded in death by her Dad DeWayne and her Grandparents. Viewing will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Tate Mortuary 110 S Main St, Tooele, UT from 5-6:30pm. A viewing will also be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 prior to the funeral from 10-10:45am at the Pine Canyon Ward House 2032 Churchwood Dr. Tooele, Utah, funeral will begin at 11:00am.
