Wendy Everett Jacobsen, age 67, passed away Thursday December 5, 2019, at her home in Stansbury Park, Utah. She was born June 21, 1952 in Salt Lake City to John E and Emagene Bailey Everett. Wendy was the middle of five children. She served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the New Zealand North Island mission. Her church service most of her life was in the primary and she loved all her primary children like they were her own grandchildren. Wendy married Richard L. Jacobsen in the Salt Lake Temple on July 1, 1976 (later divorced) and had two daughters that meant the world to her. She shared her faith and love of our Savior with her family as well as all the children she served throughout her life. Her hobbies included crafting, sewing, reading, and bragging about her grandchildren. Wendy is survived by her daughters Stephanie Jacobsen and Katharine England (Joseph); grandchildren Peyton, Mishay, Mathias, and Liam England; older brother Ron Everett, younger brothers Ernie and Ken Everett; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Sophie. Preceded in death by her parents, older brother Don Everett, and her loving mother- and father-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 13, at the Porter Way Chapel, 57 E Porter Way in Stansbury Park, UT 84074 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 9:00 a.m. There will also be a viewing Thursday December 12, at Tate Mortuary 110 S.
