Cecil Ray Butler, Jr. passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the age of 40. Cecil was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Cecil was born on November 10, 1971 in Panorama City, California to Cecil Butler and the late Carole Butler. Cecil married Jennifer Adamson on February 12, 2005. Together they raised two children, Mac Marshall and Malorie Dees whom he adored. Cecil had a special place in his heart for his mother-in-law, Virginia Adamson and his adopted mother, Rose Kallas. Cecil is also survived by his three children Nicholas, Gloriana, and Anastasia; sister Karen (Steve) Kallas, sister Barbara (Jeff) Brown, brother Ray (Darla) Butler. Cecil had many nieces and nephews Chris (Kristen) Butler, Megan Butler, Desiree Butler, Derek Butler, Clarissa Butler and Cassie Brown. Cecil was preceded in death by his mother Carole Butler. Cecil worked hard to provide for his family. Cecil loved the outdoors and he especially loved fishing. He was a fabulous cook as well and he will always be remembered for his chicken marsala. Cecil will be greatly missed by all who knew and embraced him over the course of his life. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 27th at Tate Mortuary.
