Cindy’s dream was to make it past her 60th birthday, which she did along with a party at Jim’s with some of her favorite people. She had a thirst for learning and held a BS in English. Books of every kind found their way to her and she loved a good ghost story. She had a passion for teaching children to read and was a published Author of the children’s book, “Frantic the Frog”. She had a great desire to help others in every way she could. She would crochet blankets all year long to be distributed from October through December to homeless shelters, woman’s shelters, and to the LBGTQ youth center in Salt Lake City. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Ladies Community Club of Tooele. She is survived by her brothers, Frank and Ben. She will be interred in the Delta City Cemetery with her parents Ellis and Virginia Daley Bennett. Her beloved dog Bug will be interred with her. She was an animal lover and activist till the very end. She will be missed by her many friends and her honorary family, Bob and Sarah Brown and their two children Preslee and Cylas who were especially important to Cindy. We will be holding a Celebration of Life in Cindy’s honor later this summer. Date TBD.
