Ethel Denice Russell Corradini, age 85, passed away in Tooele, Utah on March 19, 2009. Ethel was born in Rush Valley, Utah to Hyrum Lawrence and Estella May Bracken Russell on November 13, 1923. Ethel married Arthur Corradini in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 18, 1947. They lived in Tooele and Stockton and then moved to Green River, Utah where Art was working. From there it was on to Colorado, first to Gateway and then to Grand Junction until 2005. Ethel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings including Relief Society President and had many friends in all the various wards. As a young woman she worked at the Tooele Army Depot before becoming a housewife and mother. Interests included her family and genealogy extraction work for the Church. She loved to make crocheted doilies and afghans for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, Lamar, Ross (Arlene) and Lyman (Barbara); a sister, Reva (Bevan) Brown; one great grandson, Jacob Corradini and her husband Arthur Corradini. Survivors include one sister, Luana (Calvin) Hutchins of Tooele, UT; one daughter, Sue Ann (Robert) Walker and one son, Paul (Teresa) Corradini of Grantsville, UT; four grandchildren, Paula (Ryan) Robison of Okemos, MI; Travis (Elisabeth) Walker of Laurel, MD; Ryan (Mary) Corradini of Alexandria, VA; and Christina (Jeff) Williams of American Fork, UT; and fourteen great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the LDS Chapel in Grantsville (South Willow) located at 410 Shelley Lane under the direction of President Rick Phelps. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am with services to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Grand Junction, Colorado at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2009. The family would like to thank the personnel at Cottage Glen Assisted Living and Comfort Hospice Care for their wonderful care and concern for our mother.
